Investors

Investment is currently conducted through direct investment on the platform. After Investors registering and funding their wallets, they can choose suitable projects from the available investment opportunities.

Any Saudi citizen or resident over the age of 18, possessing a valid national ID or residency permit (Iqama), and an active bank account with a local bank can invest through THEMAR platform.

Yes, businesses can invest, but it depends on their nature and operation. 

Guarantees may include order documents, personal guarantees, and sometimes additional collateral like real estate or commercial pledges to reduce risks

If a business defaults on repayment, actions will be taken in accordance with Saudi Central Bank laws and regulations. 

Deposits have no fees currently, and withdrawal fees may be charged for accounts outside ANB in the future.

In such cases, the financing request is canceled, and all funds are returned to participating investors. 

Investors can participate up to 25% of the requested financing amount, with a limit of 250,000 SAR across all projects. Repayment periods range from one to 24 months. 

Investors receive the net profit announced for each project on THEMAR, and there are no additional fees.

Yes, investors have the option to cancel their investment within two days of starting. 

Yes, THEMAR is licensed and regulated by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) with license number 75/ A Sh / 202307.

Yes, all financial transactions are Shariah-compliant, approved by the Shariah Compliance committee. For more details.

Yes, you can invest up to 25% of the financing amount in a single project, with a maximum investment limit of SAR 250,000. To invest with higher limits, you must upgrade your account.

To be classified as a premium Investor, you must meet one or more of the following conditions:


  1. Has assets with a net value of at least SAR 3,000,000 (three million Saudi riyals).
  2. Currently working or has worked for at least three years in the financial sector in a position related to finance or investment.
  3. Has a professional certificate in finance or investment approved by an internationally or locally recognized establishment.
  4. Has an annual income or profits of at least SAR 600,000 (six hundred thousand Saudi riyals) in the past two years.


It means that both the principal and profits are distributed on a quarterly basis.

After the financing amount is fully collected and the repayment schedules are published. Please note that the indicated dates are approximate, and you may receive payments earlier or later than the expected date.

Yes, THEMAR is committed to returning invested capital to all investors involved in the project.

The calendar is an estimate, as this kind of investment holds a certain degree of risk.

Because THEMAR is a licensed crowdlending platform that finances small and medium enterprises (SME’s) in accordance with Murabaha and Tawarruq principles, offering attractive returns to investors and sustainable growth to enterprises (SME’s).

Borrowers

You can start the registration process now by filling in your initial information as a Borrower and then uploading the required documents. Upon verification of the company's record, examination of the financial statements, and assessment of the SME’s credit profile by the platform and the THEMAR team, you will be eligible for financing. Once your application is accepted, you will be able to submit a financing request through the platform.

Any company or institution located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a valid and active commercial registration, a minimum operating history of two years, and a clear growth plan, strategy, and vision, can request financing. 

Financing is available for inventory or fixed assets for companies with prior experience in purchasing them.

The supplying company should be registered locally or globally and have previous dealings with the financing applicant. 

THEMAR offers Business financing services.

The profit margin is determined based on the SME’s credit rating and the type of business being financed.

Required documents include: 

Price quotation. 

Commercial registration. 

Licenses (if applicable). 

Bank account statement. 

Supplier details. 

Themar charges the borrower administrative fees ranging from 2% to 3%, in addition to campaign success fees and a profit margin, with a total ranging from 1.6% to 3.2% per month


The primary guarantee is the promissory note. Optionally, personal guarantees or real estate or commercial pledges may be added. 

The invoice is canceled, and the amounts are refunded to the investors.

THEMAR platform stands out because it focuses on financing SMEs based on the principle of Murabaha (profit sharing).
